1. Different structures.

Rated tensile strength (RTS)

Maximum tensile strength (MAT)

Also known as the annual average working tension, is the OPGW and ADSS in the long-term working process of the average tension.

Dc resistance

That is, the calculated value of parallel resistance of all conductive components in OPGW at 20℃ should be as close to the opposite ground wire as possible. ADSS does not have this requirement.

Short-circuit current

OPGW refers to the maximum current that an OPGW can withstand when it is short-circuited (generally referred to as a single-phase pair). The results show that the start and end temperature of short circuit current is related to the time of short circuit current and should be as close to the actual situation as possible. ADSS does not have this requirement.

Short flow capacity.

Short circuit current squared and time multiplied by I2t. ADSS does not have this requirement.
