Optical cable is manufactured to meet optical, mechanical or environmental performance specifications. It is a communication cable assembly that uses one or more optical fibers placed in a clad sheath as the transmission medium and can be used individually or in groups. Optical cable is mainly composed of optical fiber (fine as hair glass) and plastic protective sleeve and plastic skin, optical cable without gold, silver, copper aluminum and other metals, generally no recycling value. Optical cable is a kind of communication line in which a certain number of optical fibers are composed of a cable core in a certain way and are outfitted with a sheath or some are covered with an outer sheath to realize the transmission of optical signals. That is, the cable formed by optical fiber (optical transmission carrier) after a certain process. The basic structure of optical cable is generally composed of cable core, reinforced steel wire, filler and sheath and other parts, in addition to the need for waterproof layer, buffer layer, insulating metal wire and other components.
