The left and right optical fibers are dislocated up and down or the image on the left is out of focus, and the position of the optical fiber on the right is normal. Correct treatment method: Clean the bottom of the V-groove on the left (the cut short bare fiber pushes the bottom of the V-groove), and then check whether the fiber presser foot inside the windproof cover is flexible. If it is normal, the fault should have been eliminated.
When the left and right optical fibers are advanced horizontally, when either side of the left or right cannot be advanced in place (and the machine has a ZL or ZR alarm). First of all, it is necessary to confirm whether the length of the fiber placement is correct. After confirming that there is no doubt about the placement of the fiber, it can be handled as follows: take out the left and right fibers, and gently push the left and right fiber pressing platforms to the electrodes with the left and right hands, so that the left and right hands can feel the left and right fiber pressing. Whether there is resistance on the platform, if there is resistance, push it a few more times until the hand feels no resistance. If there is always resistance, it means that there is a problem inside the ZL or ZR, and it is time to send it for repair.
The electrode is aging, and the connection loss is too large. Treatment method: First look at the degree of oxidation of the electrode. If there is only a small amount of oxide on the tip of the electrode, remove the electrode, dip it in 99.95% analytical alcohol with a harder paper, and clean the oxide on the tip of the electrode. That's it. Put the clean electrode back on the fusion splicer and carry out the discharge test. If the test is passed, the machine can perform normal splicing work. If the electrode tip has mutated, the electrode needs to be replaced.
The X/Y field images are blurred and blurred, and cannot be connected normally. Treatment method: Make sure that the optical fiber is placed at the bottom of the V-groove without any problem. For fusion splicers with mirrors, first check whether the X/Y field mirrors are covered with fog on the lens, and use a clean cotton swab to dip it. Point 99.95% analytical alcohol, and then wipe the reflective lens, the above problems can be solved immediately. If it is winter or summer, condensation on the camera needs to be considered. If condensation occurs, it is necessary to turn off the fusion splicer, rest for 15 minutes, and wait for the condensation to automatically resolve.
Heating furnace problem. Treatment method: If the heat shrinkable tube is stuck by the heating furnace, it is not easy to take out the heat-shrinked optical fiber from the heating furnace. This is because the quality of the heat shrinkable tube is not good (the domestic heat shrinkable tube is the same), Press the heating furnace button again to easily remove the fiber during heating.
Fiber check failed. Treatment method: Make sure that the fiber is placed at the bottom of the V-groove. First clean the lens protection sheet, be sure to wipe it gently with a clean cotton swab, usually the problem can be solved. In the new optical fiber fusion splicer, the reflective lens is removed, so the user does not know the imaging principle of the fusion splicer. At this time, the operator first opens the windproof cover, and you can see that the windproof cover has two upper and lower holes. These are two LED light-emitting diodes, which are the imaging light source. If the brightness is not bright or the brightness is not enough, the fusion splicer will not be able to read the imaging signal. will report an error. Therefore, it is very important whether these two LED light-emitting diodes are normal workpieces. The magnetic switch in the machine is controlled by closing and opening the windproof cover. Therefore, the magnet position on the windproof cover needs to be kept clean to prevent oil pollution, etc., and always maintain a good connection state.
When the optical fiber is connected in good condition, when the windproof cover is opened, the optical fiber is inexplicably broken. In fact, when the windproof cover is opened, the optical fiber is in the tension test, and the fiber break indicates that there is a problem with the connection quality of the optical fiber, and the discharge test should be performed again. After passing the discharge test, the problem can be solved. If the fiber is still broken, please clean the V-groove and bare fiber clamp. After these steps, the problem can be solved.
The fiber cutting angle is too large. Treatment method: First, hold the cutting knife firmly in your hand, so that the fiber pressing rubber of the cutting knife can look at the light, and see if the two pressing fiber rubbers can transmit light. If they can transmit light, they should be adjusted. For emergency treatment, remove the light-transmitting side of the fiber-pressing rubber, and temporarily put a piece of paper of suitable thickness so that no light can pass through between the two rubbers. The problem can be solved temporarily. In addition, check whether the cover plate of the cutting knife and the knife holder are tightly suitable for the seam. If there are dislocations and gaps between the upper and lower sides, the optical fiber section will not be qualified when cutting the fiber.
The section of the optical fiber is damaged. Treatment method: When the optical fiber section is damaged after production, lower the height of the cutting knife slightly, and then try to cut it once. In addition, you can also turn the blade a little bit, and with a new blade, the problem should be solved.
Question 10: There is a bulge in the section of the optical fiber. Treatment method: When the section of the optical fiber protrudes after production, it means that the blade surface of the cutting knife is low and needs to be raised a little. The handling method is the same as that of question 9.
