The vibrating fiber (vibrating fiber optic cable) is actually a perimeter intrusion detection system, not a single fiber optic cable. Ordinary optical cables are used to transmit signals. The vibrating optical cable used in the vibrating optical fiber alarm system is an ordinary communication optical cable. The external vibration and pressure will cause the optical cable vibration sensor or the vibrating optical cable to deform, and the change of the optical path will cause the optical signal transmitted by the vibrating optical cable to change. The collector detects the change of the optical signal, then processes the detected signal, and extracts the characteristic value of the intrusion signal. The system will analyze the event category according to the characteristic value, filter the false alarm, and output an effective alarm signal.
